What’s in a Warmer Box?

So many people ask, is the Warmer Box worth it? Should I buy the Deluxe Model? What can I do with it?

There are ways, like holes from the Firebox to the Warmer, that expands the list of uses.

  1. Dry your wood in it or store wood in the rain. Preheating your wood.
  2. You can use it to smoke cheese.
  3. Cook Chicken Wings, Potatoes, sausage, stuffed mushrooms, vegetables of all kinds, macaroni and cheese, hamburgers and salmon, kielbasa.
  4. Make Jerky.
  5. As above cook your side dishes.
  6. Smoke sirloin tip roast at 200 degrees while using main chamber at higher heat for chicken.
  7. Use to keep your food warm while getting other food ready.
  8. Use it to warm buns while cooking sausages or hot dogs or hamburgers.
  9. Make breakfast while cooking. (Comes in handy at Competitions)
  10. Smoke slabs of bacon.
  11. Put a tray of water in it on top of firebox, creates steam

So before you decide you don’t need the Deluxe Model, look again at everything a Warmer Box can do!

  1. The warmer box on my 60 Hybrid Deluxe is well worth the price for all the reasons outlined above. Unlike the one pictured, mine has the ports between the firebox and the cabinet, which I believe is essential: it increases the heat range in the cabinet, and its usefulness. I wouldn’t want the warmer box without this feature.

  2. I got the warmer box with my 36″ hybrid deluxe model seven years ago. Boy, I’m glad I got that model. It does all they say and more. Highly recommend to all who are unsure. You will not regret it.

  3. I ended up buying the 36″ Hybrid Deluxe Patio and did the hemming and hawing on the warmer box. I finally went for it and will never look back. For 300 bucks more it’s like having another smoker. I’ve done chicken wings in there and sausage, but mostly all my sides cook in there. Mac and cheese, beans, corn and warming buns. My cooker is not near my kitchen but even if it was it wouldn’t change how I use it. I would say that if you are thinking about getting it then go for it, you will not be sorry.
