we are considering purchasing a Lang 84 pit that has been used. How do I know it has been used correctly? Is there any questions I should specifically ask the current owner? Also, how does the heat/smoke flow when the smoke stack and fire box are on the same end? Thank you for your time!
Denise
The best used cookers are the one’s that were garage kept. And never overheated.
If it is only a few hundred dollars more to get new. Then that’s what you should do… No substitute for your own seasonings in a new cooker. And the steady temperatures that you run it at. Not to mention that the new factory look is more professional, the materials are Machine bent and formed rather than the home made tank look.
Thanks for Looking at Lang
