How to keep track of your cooking temperature when cooking with a Lang BBQ Smoker cooker?
Cooking with a meat thermometer will help you control your cooking temperature and will help you know exactly when is the food fully cooked.
The average internal temperature for birds should be 170F to 180F while meat’s average internal temperature should be of 140F for rare, 160F for medium and 170F for well done.
You can check the exact temperature by inserting a meat thermometer into the thickest part of your cooking material (without touching bone) and allow five minutes to register. Some meat thermometers can remain in the food with the display outside to minimize the need to open the door.
