Direct or Indirect Heat?

Q: A smoker cooker shopper recently asked us “Do these smokers cook with direct or indirect heat?

A: It is called indirect. However the heat is everywhere all the time much like a convection oven and it browns foods to perfection , with out fighting a fire because it is off-set in the firebox (thus the  term indirect ).
